Modern decor in the dining area adds a festive touch, with Christmas crackers and cheerful napkins that make meal times feel special. The breakfast selection might be small, but never left anyone hungry during the stay.
Rooms are tighter than a Wookiee's grip, with barely enough space to maneuver. Shower water temperature swings like a Tatooine weather vane, making it tricky to find the right balance without some trial and error. Noise creeps in from outside, especially with early morning traffic rumbling past, and the floors can be a bit gritty underfoot. You'll find odd water leaks haunting your evenings if luck isn't on your side, turning a simple night into an unexpected adventure.

Rooms are claustrophobically small—hardly any space to maneuver, and the showers can feel like a squeeze. Lots of noise during breakfast too—with tons of people crammed into a limited area and no system for seating, which turned breakfast into a bit of a mess. The air conditioning is as reliable as a Tatooine sandstorm. some rooms too hot to bear without decent ventilation. Oh, and if you're on a higher floor, be prepared to get some exercise, as the elevator likes to take a vacation.

our stay at brunel was quite nice! we loved the breakfasts, with both hot and cold options. the quadruple room was always clean and tidy, and having multiple keys was convenient for our family. being close to paddington made it easy for our trips to the airport.

Great location and friendly staff
I had a lovely stay with a fantastic location just a short walk from Paddington Station and Hyde Park. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience more enjoyable. The breakfast included a good selection of hot and cold options which I really appreciated. the room was quite small and could use some additional space.

comfortable stay but minor issues with cleanliness
The family room was spacious and provided a comfortable environment. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating during our stay.
The cleanliness of the common areas left something to be desired.

I had a comfy stay where the nice breakfast with three types of eggs was a great start every morning, and the surprisingly large bathroom was a pleasant surprise. There’s a cozy lounge where I could enjoy some downtime after a long day out, though the WiFi was a bit spotty at times. it was a charming experience for budget travelers. 😊

Perfect location and tasty breakfast
I stayed for 3 nights in a family room. The location is super convenient, just a short stroll to Hyde Park and Paddington Station. The breakfast was pretty darn good too! Loved the scrambled eggs and pastries. The room was clean but a bit cramped for my taste. A little bit more soundproofing would have been nice since noise from outside was hard to drown out.

Perfect for a short trip with limited space
The location is amazing, just a stone's throw from the train station and surrounded by restaurants. The staff were helpful, even letting me check in early, which is rare and honestly made my day.
