    Very good

The location is excellent, the continental breakfast is very good, and we liked the papers available in the lobby.

The room was a little too small for comfort - difficult for 2 people to move around freely and not enough shelf space.

I consider I have been robbed, literally. The room was less than 5 square meters. I could not stay there more than one night, then I left.It was impossible to sleep, the bed is a kid bed. I could not sit on the desk, it is a kid's desk. The room was terrible: not clean, noisy, the worst place I've ever been in my life, even worse than student's dorms. Still, the hotel refused to consider any of my complaints, and refused to pay me a compensation. They charged me 1,500 Pounds for one night. I left them the room without sleeping, and they rented it the next four days where I was not there, and they refused to compensate anything. So, in summary, I was robbed 1,500 Pounds for one night without sleep! The hotel rejected the responsibility on Booked.net. I will have to raise this issue as high as possible, and alert uk Consumer Organiation. I am more than disappointed, I consider this is pure and simple robbery and legal action will have to be taken against this.

    Very good

Close to transport Friendly staff Close to park Clean

Size of room (#03) basement room - no natural light no shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries plug behind the bed - very difficult to reach

    Fabulous

The Hotel is beautiful, room was clean and there was all I needed. Staff is kind and always available. The location is perfect, really close to Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate tube station. Obviously the price is high, but it's hard to find hotel like this at a cheaper price.

Nothing, the rooms (had to change rooms 3 times trying to find 1 that I could sleep in due to excessive heat) were very small, and the worst value for money I have encountered in almost 30 years of travel. The hotel had no pictures of the rooms on the web sites in a deliberate attempt to mislead the public. I tried to get my money back and stay somewhere else, but the unfriendly staff refused to give me my money back. As a foreign tourist I guess they think they have the right to rip me off. I honestly feel sorry for the next people to stay their.

No pictures of the rooms on websites in a deliberate attempt to mislead the people staying there. Rooms wrer very tiny and that hot that you could not sleep their due to excessive heat. I would not have moved 3 time if rooms were ok

A good tourist Hotel within easy walk of railway and tube station

Very poor quality and way overprized. Polite lady at the desk. Horrible and incorrect management. No ambition to run a hotel and give any service. Only looking for the short win. This hotel is not going to survive in London. No good internet connection, a 3 person bedroom is just a single bedroom with 3 beds. So no room to move. Room cleaning didn't clean the room before 14.00 and when we came back from our morning workshop for a rest, they refused to clean the room after 15.00. In the end no fresh beds and towels. There are a lot of better alternatives in the area.

    Staff at breakfast was friendly

Room very small (ca 9m^2), furniture and bathroom old. I was paying 95 pounds per night, bad value for the money.

    Fabulous

It was a convinent location and easy to get in and out of being close to Paddington Station as well as two other tube stops.

It is to be expected, the rooms are small, but am sure is the same for most hotels in London. If you want an American hotel stay in American. We actually enjoyed our stay very much.

    Good

The room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable.

The staff were not helpful, and rather unwelcoming. Our room had a sewage problem, in that it smelled awful due to the toiletry system. The noise of the underground, as we were put on the bottom floor, kept us awake and when we requested to be moved, they wouldn't let us. Breakfast is served between 7-10, and when I asked for a cooked breakfast at 9:45, they said no as it would take 'too long'.

    Fabulous

    Good breakfast

Bathroom a bit cramped Hotel was hard to find. It's not really on Glouster Terrace, it's on Craven Rd.

    Exceptional

Excellent front-of-house staff, upgraded to double due to over booking.

If I was being very picky - no decaf coffee in the room but that's about it.

    The location.

I was extremely surprised to pay at the check-in, it was the 1st time in my life I was asked to pay in advance. Now I understand that it was due to the poor service of the hotel. The breakfast is not worth it, there is a lot of little places where to have breakfast around or even somewhere else in the city. The lift only went up to the 3rd floor while our room was on the 4th.There was an extremely small corridor to get to our room and someone was painting it when we were there so the smell was very strong and we had to be extremely careful while crossing not to get paint all over our coats. In the bathroom, water ran dirty long before being clean and the sink was only 20cm wide, impossible to use without having water everywhere.

    The bathroom was clean?

The pull out matress (which was actually described as a single bed!) was about 2 inches thin and mega uncomfortable so i didnt sleep much as all. Also the tube runs right under the rooms.

    Very good

The location is perfect for such price (10-15 minutes by underground from major sights), the room was clean, staff friendly, breakfast delicous and abundant - what else for a two star hotel in London?

Certainly the smallest room I ever stayed
